Third message online dating
These are some of my favorites because they prove the value of my profile bio.
I purposely wrote a sarcastic bio that would absolutely baffle anyone with less than half a brain and a complete lack of the type of humor I find so delightfully amusing. I get a lot of the confused “hello’s” and I get down on my knees every day and thank the universe for giving me the inspiration for my bio.
The one-word wonder This guy writes a single word that I imagine he sees as so spectacular any woman will be dazzled into responding.
Usually it takes the form of “hey” or “ ’sup” or “hi.” I’d like to give these men the benefit of the doubt and assume they don’t know the average woman on Ok Cupid gets inundated with dozens of messages a week and a one-word message isn’t actually going to dazzle her into responding.
Perhaps these dudes realized that after their first message and are just attempting to give it a better shot on their second… These are what I like to call the “Escalation Hellos.” They start off as a simple “Hi” and morph into full-blown introductions in the course of days or weeks.
You probably spend countless hours every week clicking through profiles and messaging attractive women on dating sites and apps. One fellow in particular sent the following message: “Very rare for exterior beauty to accompany intellectualism.Though I’m quite fond of those with auspicious characteristics. The best part is when these same men angrily message a few hours or days later with an angry all-caps, “WELL I GUESS I’M NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU THEN.” Well you didn’t exactly give us anything to work off of, buddy. The word salad spinner These might possibly be my favorite messages.
